I have the older wood spatula and was expecting this one to be the same size. This one is a lot larger. I prefer the smaller one. This one is too large for a small frying pan. The spoon works find for stirring soupier mixtures but is more on the spoon side and can not be used as a ladle.

We appreciate your feedback and are sorry to hear that the size of the spatula was not what you were expecting. Just to clarify, the spatula is only 1 inch larger in length and width compared to the older bamboo version. These new utensils are also an upgrade to premium oak. Nonetheless, we understand that you prefer the smaller size and we will definitely take this into consideration for future product improvements. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
